Shut Down the Internet!
This is what Sir Elton John wants.
Yes, he said Internet has been destroying the human relationships. People don’t go out anymore and don’t listen music.
Why? Blogs! That’s it. He said: “We’re talking about things that are going to change the world and change the way people listen to music and that’s not going to happen with people blogging on the internet.”
So, if there are no more good albuns, good music, you are guilt, dear bloggers… That’s all your fault!
I think people just can’t deal with the new. People don’t like change. The internet has helped a lot to kick-starting the careers of some best new talents. Internet has been opened doors and of course, closed others.
How can you deal with that?
It seems Sir Pop Legend can’t do it. His new album sold just 100.000 copies and he blamed the internet music download.
My opinion: Let’s Shut Down Elton John!

Music artists nowadays must understand they cannot use old techniques in this new world. Personally, I think going to the record store and buying a record is much more exiting than downloading it, but the music downloading industry is a fact, and it is here to stay. Surely, less people will buy these records, but I believe the artists need to create great music in the studio, and then go on a tour and play it live. In the live shows they need to improvise and experiment with the material to provide a unique experience to the audience, an experience you will never get when only listening to the original songs. If you love an artist, you can download his music to get yourself familiarized with the songs, and then buy a ticket to his live show to see how these basic sketches created in a white sterile studio room, transform into an emotional piece of art fueled by thousands of roaring souls.

No one listens to [his] music because it’s pants!!! I always listen to [decent] music when I’m surfing and I’m always building relationships on social web sites such as MySpace, FaceBook and BlogCatalogue. The guy has absolutely no idea, does he?
Stupid diva!
