Shut Down the Internet!

Aug 02, 2007 in internet, blog, Entertainment

This is what Sir Elton John wants.

Yes, he said Internet has been destroying the human relationships. People don’t go out anymore and don’t listen music.

Why? Blogs! That’s it. He said: “We’re talking about things that are going to change the world and change the way people listen to music and that’s not going to happen with people blogging on the internet.”

So, if there are no more good albuns, good music, you are guilt, dear bloggers… That’s all your fault!

I think people just can’t deal with the new. People don’t like change. The internet has helped a lot to kick-starting the careers of some best new talents. Internet has been opened doors and of course, closed others.

How can you deal with that?

It seems Sir Pop Legend can’t do it. His new album sold just 100.000 copies and he blamed the internet music download.

My opinion: Let’s Shut Down Elton John!

With Fliptrack you can create and share your own music videos. You can upload pictures from your computer and also import your photos from Photobucket, MySpace, Flickr and Friendster.

Their music library is really great, since babies music to Punk and Metal.

Fake bloggers soon to be ‘named and shamed’

Feb 11, 2007 in technology, news, blog

Fakes, beware:

Hotels, restaurants and online shops that post glowing reviews about themselves under false identities could face criminal prosecution under new rules that come into force next year.

Businesses which write fake blog entries or create whole wesbites purporting to be from customers will fall foul of a European directive banning them from “falsely representing oneself as a consumer”.

From December 31, when the change becomes law in the UK, they can be named and shamed by trading standards or taken to court.

The Times has learnt that the new regulations also will apply to authors who praise their own books under a fake identity on websites such as Amazon.
