Swiss Army Sunglasses

Feb 12, 2007 in geek, gagdets

The Germany based company, Not-So-Bright Sunwear, has taken the Swiss Army Knife concept to a whole new realm in the form of eye-wear. These sporty sunglasses come in a variety of colors and styles while maintaining comfort despite the massive amount of hardware attached to them.

They are certified 100% UV protected, polarized, rust resistant, as well as environmentally friendly. What really puts these glasses in a different league from others is the ability to be customized with over 263 tools and attachments, including a clever secondary sunglasses attachment in the event something should happen to the main pair.

Gadgets for Rich Geeks

Feb 10, 2007 in technology, geek, gagdets, women, fashion

Valentine’s Day is just a few days away so if you don’t have plans for your significant other, Tulip Ego has your back with their special Love Edition laptop. The notebook is clad in leather and its silver heart pendant can be engraved with any message you like, but other than that, pricing and features are mysteriously missing.

Considering how their previous notebooks did, we’re not expecting much, so you might be better off getting her something else.

This notebook cost nothing less than 350k.

From Gadgets Monkeys:

Buffalo of Japan has limited edition USB flash drives. Buffalo is finally getting past the simple silk-screen and going with molded statuettes. The limited edition figurine collection (only 5000 to be made) is comprised of Mickey Mouse taking the helm, Winnie the Pooh, doing what he does best - eating, and Stitch getting loose on his surfboard.

Available only in Japan sometime in February you’d better make the jump if you’re looking to A) buy some because you’re a Disney freak or B) looking to make a quick buck from an eBay addicted Disney fan.

KODAK EASYSHARE Digital Picture Frames

Feb 06, 2007 in technology, geek, photo, gagdets

Now, they are talking to me. That’s the photo frame I always want.

Finally a digital picture frame which holds some worth, the Kodak EASYSHARE digital picture frame is loaded with features. First, as any Kodak buff would expect the digital display is fine tuned to Kodak color standards then stack on some MP3 capability to sooth the sole of those fond memories.

Next, bring pictures to life with the EASYSHARE picture frame’s capability to play MPEG 1, 4, MOV and AVI files then funnel those joyous moments through the built-in stereo speakers - load these formats up via compact flash, secure digital, multimedia card, xD, memory stick or interface via USB. And if this isn’t enough then connect via Wi-Fi and zoom, rotate, crop and print from included remote control. Kodak - you’ve come a long way since 1878, good job.

Several configurations are available. 10 and 8 inch WiFi frames or 8 and 7 inch standard frames. Assorted colors and faceplates are also available and Kodak has not released information on those being accessories or part of the EASYSHARE picture frame package.
